Pullin' It Outa the Closet..........this is getting serious!

Much as I know that religion and politics are dangerous ground to tred on - I'm pullin' my "politics" hat outa the closet - (no...nothing to do with sex [img]smile.gif[/img] ) - and I hope at least some of y'all will check this stuff out.

I got on a "roll", so to speak, looking up the website of Rolling Thunder....a Vietnam Vets motorcycle organization that had endorsed George W. Bush for reelection - apparently not a usual move for them to go Republican. From there a mass of information on John F. Kerry, Democratic candidate, opened up and I know I haven't scratched the surface!

Just listening to Kerry's speeches almost throws me into convulsions! I've never heard so much contradiction come outa one mouth in my life.... [img]eek.gif[/img] But that's minor compared to his early-on bragging about "when I was in Viet Nam" crap - yeah, all 4 months of it??? It seems he then used a loophole to get sent home to a cushy job here in the US.

OK...here's my point. WHY hasn't all this stuff gotten more publicity than it has? [img]frown.gif[/img] Oh, there have been short-lived references to it - but nothing even close to what it deserves! The American public needs to know these things about someone that may just get elected as our Commander In Chief out of sheer apathy on our part. This is plain scarey!!!

Frankly, someone oughta be jumping up and down and pointing to all this information about Kerry and his shit every where we look. I'm not saying George W. Bush is a perfect specimen, but compared to the "alternativc" it's sounding to me like he's by far the most desirable.

If we don't get the facts and do something with them, we're gonna end up with a situation that I'll flat be ashamed of! Idiots can get elected rather easily I'm afraid - all it takes is shushing reports of actions that are clearly on record and nobody bothering to check 'em out.

Now I realize some of this is "slanted" - you'll just have to sort that out for yourself. I'm not tryin' to tell anyone what to believe and what not to believe. But it seems there's an awful lot of information floating around from numerous sources that's not getting the attention it deserves!

CB......I couldn't agree with ya more! Dubya's got my vote too - NO contest. Besides all the info in those articles, etc., Kerry's just an idiot - and I guess he thinks the American public are all idiots too with all the contradicting himself an' everything. Oh well.....I could rave on and on but won't waste my energy and other peoples' time. it only serves to help support the original idea
you had... nothing more. it opens up doubt and
feeds it.

i think that its best to stop relying on other
sources of propaganda to help make a decision
and do your own research... not just jump from
one biased source to the next.

Trouble is Kerry struck me as an idiot before I read all that stuff - maybe I just didn't think he could possibly be as big a ding-bat as I thought? I dunno. He just scares me - he's SO transparent and he'll say whatever it takes to say what he thinks people want to hear. I can't even work up even a little bit of trust where he's concerned.

Just for the record though.....I do respect everybody's right to their own opinion....LOL! And we should make our minds up on our own 'cause God knows there's a world of propaganda out there for us to paddle around in. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I must admit at the moment I feel better with Bush in the White House though (just my feelin's) - after all......the gentleman IS from Texas!!! *Giggle*
